WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — City officials broke ground on the site of future Wichita Fire Station 23 Thursday morning.
The new station, Station 23, will be located on land just northwest of Pawnee Street and Maize Road.
The station will be just under 10,000 square feet, feature private sleeping rooms and have a post-incident decontamination and gear wash area.
