Good Samaritans rescue crash victim in Greensboro at Friendly Center: ‘Really about helping out’

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A crash at a busy Greensboro shopping center turned into a life-saving rescue after a group of good Samaritans rushed to help a stranger.

Michael Bailey said he was by the Friendly Shopping Center Monday morning when he heard a crash. He said what happened next was pure instinct.

Bailey said he was grabbing breakfast at the McDonald’s along Northline Ave around 9:30 a.m. when he heard a loud crash. He said he saw a crushed car by a pole where there is still a dent and ran over without hesitation.
