MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Cleanup is underway after a Mobile man said a lightning strike started a fire at his home.

While he wasn’t there at the time, his neighbor said he saw the blaze firsthand.
“I heard three booms,” Ellison Schaff said.
“It was real bad,” homeowner Harry Newman said about the storm. “Yeah. There were a lot of lightning strikes, in fact.”
