Air Show Could Bring the Blue Angels to Ocala International Airport in April 2027

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala City Council on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, unanimously approved a contract to bring annual air shows to Ocala International Airport for three years.

The three-year contract is with JLC AirShow Management, which is already promoting the “Wings Over Ocala Florida Airshow” as scheduled for April 30-May 2, 2027, including the copy, “The sky will roar once again as the Blue Angels take flight in an unforgettable air show over Ocala, Florida.”

The contract reportedly leaves most of the responsibility for the show with JLC; the estimated cost to the city is around $38,000, for law enforcement, fire/safety and medical resources. The deal also reportedly includes $100,000 annually to the producers from the Marion County Tourist Development Tourist Development Council, for title sponsorship…
