SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is eyeing a new park location near the Mapleton Golf Course.
At Wednesday’s Parks Board meeting, park development specialist Tyler Landry gave a brief presentation to the board about the acquisition of a piece of land, 3.18 acres along 476th Avenue before Slip Up Creek.
Landry said the size of the land is smaller for a neighborhood park, but that there could be opportunities to expand walking paths to a nearby drainage area…
