On Friday, Los Angeles FBI agents returned nearly 50 priceless and historic items to Egypt via the consul general.
KNX News’ Craig Fiegener reported that the 48 cultural artifacts were mostly small statues that appear to be carved from stone.
Investigators said the artifacts were discovered here in Los Angeles and that the suspected trafficker has since died, but there could be co-conspirators, and for that reason they described this as technically an open investigation…
