Syracuse, N.Y. — The Westcott Theater’s permitting problems continued Thursday night when police shut down an event at the venue and ticketed its manager for not having the required permits.
Officers responded to the Westcott Theater at 524 Westcott St. around 10:05 p.m. Thursday for a large, paid event being held at the venue, according to Sgt. Thomas Blake, a Syracuse Police Department spokesperson.
