SILVER SPRING, Md. (7News) — Hundreds of Montgomery County students are heading into the new school year with new backpacks, supplies and a boost of confidence after a community back-to-school celebration in Silver Spring.
The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County held its fourth annual Back-to-School Fest on Friday at the Silver Spring Recreation and Aquatic Center, partnering with the Montgomery County Department of Recreation to help families prepare for the 2026-27 academic year.
