Schenectady police investigate two unrelated stabbings near Vale Cemetery

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WNYT) — Schenectady police are investigating two separate stabbings near Vale Cemetery on Saturday.

Police said officers were first called to the area of Eastern Avenue around 1:15 a.m. for a man in his 30s who said he had been stabbed while walking through Vale Cemetery.

The man was treated by Schenectady Fire Department paramedics for what appeared to be a non-life-threatening stab wound to his chest. He was taken to a local hospital…
