RICHMOND, Va. — The Autism Society of Central Virginia brought a beloved Richmond tradition to a new home Saturday, hosting RVA Duck Fest at CarMax Park while Brown’s Island undergoes renovations.
More than 8,000 attendees were expected at the free, family-friendly event, which ran from 2 to 6 p.m.
With no river available for the traditional duck race, organizers introduced the Chuck-a-Duck Contest, inviting guests to toss souvenir rubber ducks toward targets for a chance to win prizes…
