Nature enthusiasts are invited to find and identify as many species as possible in Lafayette’s Kneebone Open Space, during a three-hour event this month that could help guide the city’s restoration work.
The free “bioblitz” — an event format that asks participants to survey wildlife in a short amount of time — is slated to run from 9 to 12 p.m. on Aug. 30. Attendees can download the iNaturalist phone app at no cost to log their observations.
