CLAYTON, Mo. – A Florissant man will appear in court this week for leading police on a chase from the county into the city after orchestrating an attempted fender bender holdup.
According to the Florissant Police Department’s probable cause statement, the attempted robbery and pursuit happened on July 22.
Police said Dewayne Woods and others were riding in a Jeep and struck the rear of a Volvo S60. The driver of the Volvo pulled over and exited his car. Woods and his cohorts got out of the Jeep with guns and demanded money from the victim…
