Spokane fire cleanup leaves owners scrambling to move burned cars

Spokane, Wash. — People affected by the Spokane area fires were still working to remove damaged vehicles from their properties as neighborhood cleanup continued.

777 Towing reported it had been getting steady calls from owners who needed burned or damaged cars hauled away. The company said it had offered free tows after posting the help on social media and planned to keep going until properties were cleared and owners could move toward rebuilding.

“We’re still getting calls, and we don’t plan to stop until everything’s cleared out and tell property owners are satisfied and can start rebuilding,” the Henrys said…
