Lillian’s 40th Annual Labor Mullet Festival event set

LILLIAN, Ala. (WKRG) — The Optimist Club of Perdido Bay announced the date and location of the 40th Annual Labor Day Mullet Festival in Lillian.

According to a news release, the festival is set for Monday, Sept. 7, at two locations. The Lillian Recreational Park, at 33914 Widell Avenue, will host events from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., while the Lillian Community Center, at 34148 Widell Avenue, will host events from 7 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Registration for the 5K/Walk at the park begins at 6 a.m., with the event beginning at 7:30 a.m.  The festival will also have breakfast, lunch, a silent auction, a bake sale, a mullet toss to win prizes, music, and a quilt drawing…
