A DUI and driver’s license checkpoint conducted by the Folsom Police Department resulted in two arrests and eight citations after more than 800 vehicles passed through the enforcement operation earlier this month, as the department prepares for another checkpoint in September.
Folsom police released results Monday from the Aug. 7 checkpoint, reporting that 809 vehicles passed through the operation during the evening.
Of those vehicles, 40 were directed to a secondary screening area for further evaluation by officers. One driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, while another person was arrested on an outstanding warrant…
