Convicted felon detained with gun and mushrooms in Webster Parish

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A convicted felon is under arrest for alleged possessing a loaded firearm and a controlled dangerous substance during his arrest at the TA Travel Center on Louisiana Highway 532 in Webster Parish, authorities say.

According to the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jesse D. Johnson, 40, of Shreveport, was taken into custody just before 11:30 a.m. on August 21.

Earlier in the day, law enforcement officers with the sheriff’s office say they responded to a burglary in progress call at a Taylor Road residence where they learned the Johnson had left the scene…
