James Island is about to get a new neighborhood steakhouse, and its owners are hoping to create something that feels less like a traditional fine-dining destination and more like a place locals can make their own.
Char House Social, the newest restaurant from Josh and Katie Drewry, owners of The Harlow, is planned for 1234 Camp Road, in the space that most recently housed Smoky Yolk Cafe and previously was home to Smoky Oak Taproom. The restaurant is expected to open this fall.
