SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO)– Burkman Valley Elementary will open its doors tomorrow as the fifth elementary school in the Brandon Valley School District.
Principal Mary Mudder says the turnouts for the open houses were nearly 100 percent and that students and staff are excited for the year to start.
Brandon Valley hosts welcome back party
“People come in with awe. It’s a beautiful building, beautiful playground. The teachers, after they were all finished last night… One of them stated, ‘I’m just so excited to get the year started,'” said Mary Mudder.
