PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Mobile man has been sentenced to prison time for a 2025 Pensacola murder.

According to a Department of Justice news release, 31-year-old Charles Carson-Dowdy was sentenced to life in prison on charges of cyberstalking, interstate domestic violence, murder through use of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Carson-Dowdy was dating Starmichael Tucker around October 2024, during which he used cellphones, the internet, and rideshares “with the intent to harass and intimidate the victim.”
In December 2024, Tucker flew to California to visit family; while there, she and Carson-Dowdy got into an argument.
Tucker returned home on Jan. 1, 2025, but before that, Carson-Dowdy traveled from his Mobile home to Tucker’s Pensacola home and went inside without her permission…
