Aug. 26 (UPI) — An animal control officer in California came to the rescue of a kitten that fell about 10 feet down a rusted metal pipe in an abandoned field.
The Alameda Police Department said Animal Control Officer Crum was called to the Ferry Point area on a report of a kitten in distress.
“Because of the pipe’s depth, getting him out posed a challenge. But with some serious animal control ingenuity, ACO Crum eventually rescued the frightened feline,” the department said on social media.
