Des Moines International Airport cancels TSA Gold+ plans

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines International Airport will no longer be moving forward with Gold+ after TSA discontinues the program.

TSA Gold+ was announced earlier this year and would allow airports to enter into partnerships with private contractors to handle their security and screening operations. The DSM airport announced they were following these plans as part of its recent upgrade efforts.
