Montavilla community grieves former tattoo artist, 1 of 5 victims in Forest Grove DV murders

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A community is grieving five lives lost in a domestic violence incident this weekend outside of Forest Grove. The Kimsey family lost three generations of women, including a local tattoo artist who made a mark on Portland’s Montavilla neighborhood.

The Montavilla community has been hit hard by the loss. Rowan Kimsey was known as a giver and an artist, whose work is memorialized outside of Side Salon, owned by her friend Laura Richards.
