Baltimore City and County’s chances of recouping economic losses from the company that owns the ship that hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge two and a half years ago are slim after a Wednesday ruling from U.S. District Court for Maryland Judge James Bredar.
The city and county, along with a handful of companies, were suing Grace Ocean Private and Synergy Marine Group, the owner and manager of the Dali, for indirect economic losses from the Key Bridge disaster.
Those included things like damage to roads that now have extra traffic due to the lack of the bridge, loss of tax revenue and other indirect impacts…
