FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Broward County Animal Care is hoping to find a “furever” home for Smoke, a 2-year-old dog who has been at the shelter for about four months.
According to shelter officials, Smoke came to BCAC as a stray and is considered a long-term dog, meaning he has been there for more than 100 days. Broward County Animal Care currently has more than 20 long-term dogs in need of adoption.
Staff describe Smoke as a moderately energized, treat-motivated dog who loves attention and cuddling. He weighs about 45 to 50 pounds, is potty trained and has finished teething…
