RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — An organic, sustainable cafe in Richmond’s Carytown area will close in early September after more than a decade of service — though it’s not the end of both the business and location.
The evening of Wednesday, Aug. 26, Daily Kitchen and Bar in Carytown, located at 2934 West Cary St., took to Instagram to announce it would close after the final brunch service on Sunday, Sept. 6, with its Short Pump location remaining open and operating as usual.
“This decision was not made lightly. For more than a decade, The Daily Carytown has been part of first dates, family dinners, celebrations, business lunches, and countless everyday moments,” the cafe said in the post. “To every guest who made us part of your lives—thank you.
