Chelsea City Council voted unanimously today after a closed session to terminate the employment contract of Elle Cole, who has been working with the city as City Manager since February of this year. Cole was placed on administrative leave the week of Aug. 24 and requested for the discussion by Council not to be made public.
“Over the past several days, concerns have surfaced regarding the city manager,” Mayor Kate Henson said. “Given the nature of those concerns and our responsibility as a governing body and employer of the city manager, the council determined that it was necessary to take immediate steps to ensure the concerns could be appropriately reviewed.”…
