SANTA MONICA – A domestic violence call in Santa Monica ended with a man dead after police said he charged officers with a knife.
Michael Rodriguez, 44, was shot once Aug. 22 near Palisades Park and later died in a hospital from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
