DENMARK, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) — More than 60 high school juniors and seniors from across South Carolina spent three weeks at Voorhees University preparing for life after graduation.
Voorhees’ GEAR UP Summer Academy hosted the students for an immersive overnight learning experience from May 31 through June 18. The program allowed participants to live in dorms and experience daily college life firsthand.
