JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Johnston Superintendent Scott Sutherland is responding to parents’ concerns after a rocky start to the school year with its busing system.
In a letter sent to families Sunday, Sutherland explained that the district directed Zum — its new school bus service — to “completely redesign” the elementary school bus routes.
The new routes started Monday morning, with the most significant change being that there will be separate bus routes for Johnston and Windsor Hill elementary schools.
