U.S. Airman arrested in immigration fraud scheme

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A U.S. Airman who was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base was arrested along with his aunt for their alleged involvement in an immigration fraud scheme.

The U.S. Department of Justice said 30-year-old John Paule Rivera was charged with conspiracy to commit immigration fraud, making false statements under oath on immigration documents, making false statements to a federal agency, unlawfully procuring citizenship and misuse of citizenship evidence.
