Florida’s new coaching staff under Jon Sumrall received encouraging news this week in the 2028 recruiting cycle. Four-star wide receiver Malachi Lee of Loudoun Sports Academy in Leesburg, Virginia, has included the Gators among his top 12 finalists, according to Rivals insider Hayes Fawcett.
Lee, listed at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, ranks as the No. 9 wide receiver in the 2028 class, the No. 67 overall prospect nationally, and the second-highest-rated player from Virginia.
