Mother raises concerns after B.C. Rain student gets sick from teacher’s brownie

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The mother of a B.C. Rain High School freshman is raising concerns after her son became sick Monday after eating a brownie handed out by a teacher during math class.

According to a source with the Mobile County Public Schools, seven B.C. Rain students were sick after eating brownies that a teacher baked.

Erica Buford, the mother of one of the students who got ill, said the brownies were brought in as a reward.

“The kids, they made good grades on Friday. And that’s the reason he brought the treats,” Buford said regarding why the teacher brought them…
