MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — An estimated 3,000 people are facing homelessness in Mobile. But local advocates said the core issue isn’t always a lack of money—it’s a lack of connection.
A new, student-built website is now bridging that gap.

“It really has changed my life,” said Isaiah Bruce. “My life for a long time, I was in addiction. I struggled with being able to just operate as a person day to day,” said Bruce.
Bruce graduated from a rehab program, but like many of the estimated 3,000 unhoused people in Mobile, finding where to go next is the hardest part.
