CHUCK E. Cheese has shut the doors of an iconic restaurant after more than three decades, leaving longtime fans devastated.

Generations of families had flocked to the much-loved venue for birthday parties, pizza and arcade games before it served customers for the final time on Monday.

The Chuck E. Cheese at 5455 Airport Highway in Toledo, Ohio, opened in 1993 and had been a fixture at the Swan Creek Plaza shopping center ever since.
