Man whose body was pulled from Lake Michigan Friday has been identified

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the body of the man pulled out of Lake Michigan Friday afternoon.

The man was identified as 44-year-old James Blaylock, address unknown, according to medical examiner’s office spokesperson Natalia Derevyanny. Blaylock’s body was found around 11:37 a.m. Friday by a City of Evanston Parks and Recreation employee in the water south of Lee Street Beach, near 901 Edgemere Court.

His cause of death is still pending…
