That format keeps the pacing tight, blending musical numbers with banter and reminiscences of old Vegas rather than breaking the night into separate sets.
Bird’s involvement traces back to his day job: he serves as Entertainment Director for The Vegas Voice, where he regularly produces and hosts live musical variety events and holiday specials aimed at Southern Nevada senior audiences, the same publication notes. That role helps explain how the co-headlining pairing with Leonetti came together for a senior-community audience.
From Kitchen to Cabaret
Leonetti, who hosts The Mike Leonetti Variety Show, didn’t start out as a performer — he worked as a culinary chef before shifting into live music, lounge entertainment and media broadcasting in Las Vegas, according to background shared on YouTube.
