OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — SoonerCare members across the state are being notified of new federal work requirements that will take effect next year.
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority says it has started notifying SoonerCare members before the new federal work requirements take effect Jan. 1, 2027.
The federal work requirement applies to adults ages 19-64 who are not otherwise exempt. Members will need to complete 80 hours per month or demonstrate a minimum monthly income. Organizers say members can use the work requirements screener online to see if they could meet an exception…
