The City of Surprise will host a free Residential Waste Cleanup event on September 12, giving residents a convenient opportunity to dispose of large household items and yard debris. In addition to the one-day event, the City provides year-round disposal services, including roll-off container rentals, bulk trash collection, and household hazardous waste pickup to help residents keep their homes and neighborhoods clean.
Residential Waste Cleanup Event
The Residential Waste Cleanup event will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at Northwest Regional Landfill, located at 19401 W. Deer Valley Road. During the event, Surprise residents may dispose of one load of up to 2,000 pounds of residential waste at no cost.
Designed to help residents get rid of larger items that do not fit in regular trash containers, accepted materials include home improvement debris like carpet, tile and drywall, yard waste such as tree limbs and leaves, and large furniture like chairs and tables…
