National Weather Service confirms tornado in St. Clair County on Wednesday Evening

Marysville, MI – After the second round of severe weather moved through the region on Wednesday that brought a Tornado Warning to parts of St. Clair County, the National Weather Service has determined that a Tornado did touch down in part of the county.

According to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, MI, they say:

A brief weak tornado tracked across portions of Marysville, Michigan in St. Clair County on the evening of September 2, 2026. Tree damage was sporadic along a narrow path between Gratiot Boulevard and Highway 29…
