UPDATE (8:52 p.m.): Semmes Fire Chief Clayton Horton said the fire at Ace Auto Parts on Thursday started in one vehicle before quickly spreading to several others.
Horton said the vehicles were stacked on top of each other in the back lot. The cause of the initial fire for the one vehicle remains unknown.
