TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Department of Health released new data on the number of locally-acquired dengue fever cases reported in Florida, with the majority of cases being in Hillsborough County.
According to the state, there are now 59 cases of dengue fever reported in Hillsborough County, with almost all of them being of the DENV-2 serotype. The remaining case is an unknown dengue virus strain.
