Houston man charged in $6,000 burglary of Friendswood coffee shop

FRIENDSWOOD — A 20-year-old Houston man has been charged in the burglary of Pearland Coffee Roasters in Friendswood, where police say more than $6,000 in cash was stolen early Tuesday morning.

The burglary occurred around 3:36 a.m. Sept. 1 at the coffee shop, located at 201 S. Friendswood Drive, according to the Friendswood Police Department.
