A major healthcare expansion is moving forward in South Fulton County after Grady Health System received state approval for a new hospital. The certificate of need clears the way for a planned 200-bed acute-care facility that will anchor the future Grady South medical campus in Union City.
The larger campus is expected to include a medical office building with imaging, surgery, specialty clinics, rehabilitation and pediatric care, alongside the hospital.
