A Mobile neurosurgeon is facing four additional charges for possession of child sexual abuse material. Dr. Shawn Clark appeared virtually before a judge Friday morning on the 10 possession and production charges he already faces in Mobile County. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office says it is filing four additional possession charges after assisting the Mobile County Sherriff’s Office search of Clark’s Fairhope home Thursday.
A judge set Clark’s combined bond at $450,000 on the 10 charges in Mobile County. Conditions of his release include house arrest, electronic monitoring, no contact with children, no recreational internet use and surrendering his passport.
