BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Rochester resident driving a pickup truck died after colliding with a tractor-trailer on Interstate-90 early Friday morning, according to New York State Police.
Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on the thruway in the Town of Newstead around 2:30 a.m. An investigation found that a 2018 Volvo tractor-trailer was traveling westbound when it struck a disabled 2012 Chevy pickup truck on the right shoulder.
Police said 61-year-old Olive H. Wesley was pronounced dead at the scene. A 62-year-old passenger from Rochester, Eric A. Trone, was transported to ECMC and remains hospitalized in serious condition…
