SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Good Things Utah) — The sky over Murray, Utah is about to get a whole lot more magical with hot air balloons that amaze by day, and glow by night. The Magic Over Murray event takes place at two venues over the course of three days, and is truly not to be missed. Kathy White and Kienna Villaplana joined us with the exciting details, including that Deena will be emcee on Saturday night, September 19th.
Families can come out early on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings to watch the hot air balloons inflate and launch from Cottonwood High School with tethered balloon rides available during the morning events. Advance rides are just $25 through September 17th, increasing to $30 beginning September 18th. Keep in mind that the launches and rides are all weather dependent.
Saturday night at Murray Park is the big festival celebration and includes food trucks, vendors, a classic car show, Touch-a-Truck, STEM activities, music, and so much more for families to enjoy.
