GAP, Pa. (WHTM) — A tornado touched down for about a mile in Lancaster County Tuesday night, the National Weather Service at State College said Friday night, damaging barns and a schoolhouse.
The tornado touched down in Salisbury Township around 7:44 p.m. Tuesday near Mount Vernon Road and Old Philadelphia Pike, near Gap.
It ripped the roof off of a barn and threw sections across a graveyard before ripping the roof off of another barn.
A one-room schoolhouse had its whole roof torn off as well…
