The East Cocalico Township Police Department said that officers responded to the first block of West Church Street just after 6:30 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck.

Police said they were able to locate a male patient with “serious injuries,” who was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene after the incident. West Church Street was closed for several hours while the investigation took place.
