LORENA, Texas (FOX 44) – The Lorena Police Department was dispatched to the Roadster Travel Center located at 12016 IH 35, Friday night, September 4, 2026, at 9:24 pm for a robbery. An officer was in the immediate area and arrived on scene in less than 10 seconds.
Upon arrival, Officer Pace located the victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. After ensuring the victim’s safety, Officer Pace began collecting vital information to broadcast to area law enforcement. After the officer’s initial investigation, it was determined that the suspect stole the victim’s vehicle and left the victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, which elevates the offense to robbery.
