Dayton, Ohio – The Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 7, will result in temporary changes to waste collection schedules in Dayton, Moraine and Jefferson Township.
The City of Dayton Division of Waste Collection announced that several garbage, recycling and bulk collection services will be affected during the holiday week. Residents are encouraged to check the schedule for their community and have containers ready on time.
Dayton collections delayed by one day
In Dayton, garbage and recycling collection will operate on a one day delay throughout the week of Sept. 7. There will also be no bulk collection in Dayton during the holiday week.
Moraine residents who normally have garbage and recycling collected Friday, Sept. 11, will instead receive service Saturday, Sept. 12. Officials noted that this is not a bulk collection week in Moraine…
